You should read this policy in full, but here are a few key issues to note:
We require certain information to provide our Services to you. For example, you must have an account in order to download and use our mobile applications. When you choose to share the information below with us, we collect and use it to operate our services.
Basic Account Information: In order to comply with applicable regulations, we require that you make an affirmative representation of your age. You do not have to make such representation, but if do not or you are under the minimum age requirements, you cannot use the Brado Network, or your use may require parental consent. You don’t have to create an account to use some of our Services, such as our website. If you do choose to create an account, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide you with our Services. This includes a display name, a password, and an email address. Your display name is always public, but you can use either your real name or a pseudonym. You can also create your account with us by using information you have supplied to another service, such as Facebook.
We receive and store any information you enter on the Brado Network, or that you otherwise provide to us. This includes personally identifying information (“personal information”), such as your first and last name, land-line telephone and mobile numbers, postal and email addresses, and billing information (such as credit card number, cardholder name, and expiration date). From time to time we may request and you may provide information on your preferences so that we may customize your experience. You may refuse to provide some of this information but, as a result, you may not be able to register on the Brado Network, complete a user profile, fully access the Services, or participate in other actions through the Brado Network.
We may receive and store information about you from our referring affiliates, business partners and other third parties related to your interaction with the Brado Network and add it to your profile. We may also acquire and store information about anyone else you link to through the Brado Network.
We also collect certain information about how you access the Brado Network such as your IP address, details of your browser, and any website you may “click through” to reach the Brado Network.
We receive information about your signup and current location, which we get from signals such as your IP address, device settings, and GPS information in some instances. We use general geographic information, such as the city you are located in, to enhance and personalize the Services. We take measures to reduce the detail that may otherwise be available to us regarding your location because we have determined that precise knowledge of your location is not important to the Services. Subject to your settings and our internal limitations, we may collect, use, and store information about your general location to operate or personalize the Services including providing you with more relevant content such as local trends, stories, ads, and suggestions for clients to follow.
In order to operate the Services, we keep track of how you interact with links across the Services. This includes links in emails we send you and links in posts that appear on other websites, social media channels or mobile applications. If you click on an external link or ad on our services, that advertiser or website operator might know or learn that you came from the Brado Network, along with other information associated with the ad you clicked such as characteristics of the audience it was intended to reach. They may also collect other personal data from you, such as cookie identifiers or your IP address.
Log Data: We receive information when you view content on or otherwise interact with the Services, which we refer to as “Log Data,” even if you have not created an account. For example, when you visit our websites, sign into the Services, interact with our email notifications, use your account to authenticate to a third-party service, or visit a third-party service that interacts with the Brado Network, we may receive information about you. This Log Data includes information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information (including device and application IDs), search terms, and cookie information. We also receive Log Data when you click on, view, or interact with links on the Services. We use Log Data to operate the Services and ensure their secure and reliable performance. We also use this data to improve the content we show you, including ads. We may use information you provide to us and data we receive, including Log Data and data from third-parties, to better understand what topics you may be interested in, how old you are, and what languages you speak. This helps us better design the Services for you and personalize the content we show you, including ads.
If you access our APIs, provide IT development services to us or access our developer portal, we process your personal data to help manage, improve and secure the Brado Network. You can update your data by contacting us directly as described in your agreement with us.
Contact Information: We use your contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to establish your account, authenticate your account and keep it – and the Services – secure, and to help prevent fraud and abuse. We also use contact information to personalize the Services, enable certain account features, and to send you information about the Services. If you provide us with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from us to that number. We also use your contact information to market to you, including through third-party services enabled via the Brado Network. You can use your settings for email and mobile notifications to control notifications you receive from us. You can also unsubscribe from a notification by following the instructions contained within the notification or here. You can also create your account with us by using information you have supplied to another service, such as Facebook, or connect your account to these other services. If you do, we will use information from that service, including your email address and preferences to recommend other clients or content to you or to recommend your account or content to others. If you email us, we will keep the content of your message, your email address, and your contact information to respond to your request.
We may provide features that let you express yourself by posting comments, likes, emoticons, emojis or other expressions of your individuality on the Brado Network. In addition, we may provide features that allow you to communicate privately with other users or control who sees your content. When you post information or communicate with others by sending or receiving messages, we will store and process your communications and information related to them. This includes scanning for malicious content or links, detection of spam and prohibited images, and review of reported issues. We also use information about whom you have communicated with and when to better understand your use of the Services, to protect the safety and integrity of the Brado Platform, and to show more relevant content. We share the content of your posts or messages with other users; we do not use them to serve you ads. When you use post information on the Brado Platform, remember that other users have their own copy of your posted information – even if you delete your copy of those messages from your account – which they may duplicate, store, or re-share.
Billing and credit card information (such as credit card, name, number, expiration date and verification code) is used for the purpose of completing any transactions you make through the Brado Network. We may collect this information directly or use third-parties, such as wireless carriers or your accounts maintained with Apple Inc. or Google LLC, to affect payments by you.
We use your other information as follows: to provide you with the products and services you request; to bill and collect for the services you select; to provide notifications; to direct advertising to you; to communicate with you, including by way of email (which you may choose to opt out); to respond to your questions and comments; to measure interest in and improve our Services; to notify you about special offers and products or services; to customize your experience on the Brado Network; to solicit information from you; to resolve disputes, or troubleshoot problems; to monitor and prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and to enforce our Terms and Conditions; and in any other way which is consistent with the purposes of the Brado Network.
We may share information provided to us by you with our clients, content providers, sponsors, affiliated companies, and advertisers, but only to the extent required by them to perform agreed-upon functions. We do not control, and are not responsible for the conduct, performance or behavior of any third-party service or content providers you access through the Brado Network. If you have concerns or questions about the use by any third-party of your personal information, you must review their individual privacy policies.
We may share your personal information in response to legally binding governmental requests such as subpoenas.
We may share aggregated or anonymized information with third parties, including advertisers, financial and performance rating agencies, consultants and investors to describe the traffic through the Brado Network, the hit rate and closing rate of transactions, the effectiveness of advertising and the value of transactions concluded through the Brado Network. No personally identifiable information will be included in these aggregated reports.
You may edit your information on your profile page. You can close your account by contacting us at the email address listed in our contact information or by using the delete feature available to you via the Brado Network. Once you delete your account, we will delete your information from the Brado Network. A closed account cannot be reopened, but you may open a new account at any time, provided you are in good standing with our Terms and Conditions. Deletion of your account does not mean that we do not retain any of your information in our systems or backups.
We take the security of your personal information provided to us seriously. While it is impossible to guarantee security, we have implemented administrative and technical procedures to help protect the personal information you provide to us. We will only use your information for our business functions. Only our authorized personnel will have access to your information. We will only transmit and share your information to our affiliates and business partners (as noted herein) as required to perform the Services and to fulfill the orders you place through the Brado Network. Sensitive information is encrypted when being transmitted between your device and our databases.
We do not offer the Services to children. If we receive information that a user is under 13 years of age (16 years of age where applicable), we will communicate with the user to inform them that no use of the Brado Network or the Services may be undertaken without parental consent.
When you provide your information, it will be transmitted to the United States to be stored, processed and used, where our servers, office and database are located. US data protection and related laws might not be the same as those in your country or any country where you may be when you access the Brado Network. By using the Brado Network you understand that your information may be transferred to our facilities and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this policy.
We may also transfer your information to any of the countries in which we, our clients, content providers, sponsors, affiliates, advertisers or other related or contracted parties operate. You agree to and acknowledge these cross-border transfers of personal information.
